There’s something timeless about gathering around a fire — and at Retreat Hotel, we’ve made it a signature experience. Each Saturday evening, the firepit becomes the heart of the hotel, drawing guests together for a night of music, warmth, and connection.

As the sun sets over the cliffs and a soft breeze carries the scent of salt and pine, our open-air lounge fills with a gentle hum of anticipation. Blankets are draped over chairs, lanterns are lit, and our team begins preparing handcrafted cocktails inspired by the season — think spiced mulled wine in autumn or rosemary gin spritzers in summer.

Live music begins just after sunset. We feature a rotating lineup of local talent, from singer-songwriters to instrumental duos. The vibe is mellow and intimate, with acoustic covers, soft jazz, and the occasional original piece that leaves the audience in quiet awe.

It’s more than entertainment — it’s an experience. Guests are encouraged to stay a while, toast marshmallows, share stories, or simply lean back and watch the stars emerge. Whether you're enjoying a romantic weekend or a solo escape, the atmosphere is designed to help you slow down and savour the moment.

Reservations aren’t required, but we do recommend arriving early for the best seats. Drinks and snacks can be ordered straight from our outdoor bar, and yes — song requests are always welcome.
